Review questions:
Name the things that must take place within a heating or cooling system prior to a call for heating or cooling?
Describe the process of attaching and purging manifold gauges.  See pages 216-217 for additional information.
 
Beginning of class questions:
1) A customer has hired you to perform maintenance on a through-the-wall A⁄C unit.  What tasks are needed to complete the job?
2) You believe that the high limit switch on a furnace has been tripped. As quickly and as safely as possible you shut down the furnace, remove the wires from the limit switch, and test the switch using your meter.  If the switch has been tripped, what would you expect to see on your meter and why?
